The OREO brand unveiled two exciting additions coming to its portfolio –
• OREO Double Chocolate Cakesters: a permanent new addition, featuring a decadent chocolate flavored creme filling sandwiched between two soft chocolate snack cakes.
• OREO Golden Birthday Cake: to celebrate another year of Milk’s Favorite Cookie turning older, the OREO brand is bringing back this beloved cookie flavor, for a limited time, which features Birthday Cake flavored creme with rainbow sprinkles sandwiched between OREO Golden cookies.
The OREO Double Chocolate Cakesters will be hitting shelves on February 24th, 2025, while OREO Golden Birthday Cake will be available on March 3rd, 2025.
Just in time to celebrate the OREO cookie’s birthday – Mondelez’s State of Snacking Report shows that consumers actually find connection through snacking! In fact – 71% of people agree, “sharing snacks with others is my love language.” It also found that emphasis on connection via snacking is rising, especially among younger consumers; 80% say that “sometimes it’s worth the extra calories to share a snack with someone I love,” demonstrating consumers’ appetite to bond over snacks.
OREO Double Chocolate Cakesters
The fan-favorite OREO Cakesters soft-baked snack is now being offered with double the chocolate. OREO Double Chocolate Cakesters are a new, permanent addition to the OREO brand’s portfolio, made with decadent chocolate flavored creme filling sandwiched between two soft chocolate snack cakes.
OREO Golden Birthday Cake
Milk’s Favorite Cookie is turning another year older and to celebrate, the OREO brand is bringing back OREO Golden Birthday Cake cookies. These cookies, previously a permanent flavor on shelves back in 2013, feature Birthday Cake flavored creme with rainbow sprinkles sandwiched between OREO Golden cookies. The limited-edition cookie will be available nationwide starting March 3, while supplies last.
