Baker & Baker launches Victoria Muffin in the UK

Baker & Baker, a European bakery products manufacturer, has launched a Victoria Muffin in the UK. The muffin, a delicious take on the famous Victoria Sponge, has been launched to support businesses as they target spring and summer sales.

The new Victoria Muffin is deliciously moist with a light vanilla flavour, filled with strawberry jam, and crowned with sugar nibs and luscious buttercream enriched with clotted cream. The muffin also contains no artificial colours, flavours, preservatives or eggs and is suitable for vegetarians.

“We’ve taken the ever-popular Victoria Sponge and developed a muffin which we think would get royal approval”, comments Helen Sinclair, UK marketing manager at Baker & Baker. “The new muffin has been launched to help businesses drive spring and summer sales, with the product perfect for use with afternoon teas, through to those consumers who want a coffee and treat on the go.”

The thaw and serve Victoria Muffins are a permanent addition to Baker & Baker’s portfolio of products, have a four-day shelf life, and are available immediately via foodservice and bakery wholesalers.

The introduction of the Victoria Muffin is the first of several permanent and limited edition treats to be launched by Baker & Baker in the UK this year.
