European bakery manufacturer Baker & Baker is launching a new Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Cookie in the run up to Easter.
The new, limited-edition cookie is baked fresh in-store and combines Cadbury’sm chocolate cookie dough which is then packed with micro Mini Eggs. This marks the first time the company has utilised the Cadbury Mini Eggs brand within the fresh bakery sector.
The Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Cookie has been launched as an indulgent sweet treat for families to celebrate the Easter season.
They will complement the three existing flavours from the Cadbury fresh cookies in-store bakery range which includes Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate & Orange; Cadbury Dairy Milk and Cadbury Dairy Milk Caramel.
Seasonality is becoming more popular within fresh bakery and Easter is now a key time for retailers due to an expanded sales period and longer lead times into the Easter break.
Baker & Baker operates an exclusive fresh bakery licensing partnership with Mondelēz to manufacture and distribute fresh bakery products, including leading brands Milka, Oreo and Cadbury, across key European markets.
“Our Cadbury Mini Eggs Chocolate Cookies include the number one Easter chocolate brand and address a growing consumer desire for fresh and exciting seasonal baked goods,” explained Michael Bancroft, Licensing Director at Baker & Baker. “Creating a moment of delight for families seeking new flavour experiences within the in-store bakery channel, we’re confident that this new limited-edition cookie will generate significant consumer appeal ahead of the Easter celebrations.”
