Reading Bakery Systems (RBS), a global provider of snack production equipment, is pleased to announce the appointment of David Welch as Sales Manager for Europe. With extensive experience in the baking industry, David will be responsible for driving the sales of RBS equipment and process solutions across the European market.
“David’s extensive knowledge in biscuit, cookie, and cracker production is a tremendous asset that will bolster our strong presence in Europe. His technical expertise and industry insight will play a pivotal role in our continued growth and success in the region,” said Joe Pocevicius, Director, EMEA & APAC for RBS.
David Welch brings over two decades of experience in food manufacturing, specializing in the production of biscuits, cookies, and crackers. Before joining RBS, he held several key positions at Baker Perkins, including Commissioning Engineer, Engineering Project Manager, and Chief Engineer. He also served as an Engineering Project Manager at Cerealto, where he led the implementation and startup of a new facility.
Welch holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Aston University in Birmingham, UK.
