We are delighted to announce that Mintel will be partnering with Bakery Live for its next edition, serving as a key media partner to deliver crucial insights and information at the upcoming must-attend virtual bakery event.
Bakery Live was newly launched in June 2023 and in its first edition, welcomed 1000+ attendees representing 83 countries. In its second edition, which is running 21-22 February 2024, it will continue to act as an online platform where global attendees can come together to discuss industry trends, explore the latest innovations and make important connections.
Operating under the theme, ‘The Leaders of Tomorrow: Pioneering Innovation, Futureproofing Success, Eco-Managing with Care’, Bakery Live will explore current trends in the industry, such as a movement towards healthier bakery and reformulating bakery products to reduce fat, sugar and salt.
Media partner Mintel are a global market intelligence agency actively involved in providing the latest insights to a number of industries spanning food and drink, retail, technology and more.
Understanding changing consumer habits and behaviours is vitally important to the bakery industry, as ongoing developments including greater health consciousness and the impact of the cost-of-living crisis have influenced how consumers approach purchasing baked goods.
As part of the media partnership, Senior Food and Drink Analyst Honorata Jarocka will discuss: “Three opportunity areas for bread and sweet bakery,” delving into simplicity, newstalgia and the savoury breakfast movement. As part of the session, attendees can expect to learn from Honorata how to tap into these opportunity areas.
“We’re looking forward to our partnership with Bakery Live and delivering our unique insights to a global audience,” said Honorata Jarocka. “We recognise the importance of supporting the bakery industry by keeping it informed.”
“We’re very pleased to be partnering with Mintel for the next edition of Bakery Live,” said Jon Pittock, Publisher, Hand Media International. “Mintel provide an invaluable source of knowledge and will deliver just that with their session.”
