Alfreton Birds Bakery reopened its doors over the weekend (17 April) after undergoing a full refurbishment to update the store and give it a completely new look.
The Derbyshire store, which is located in High Street, now features a brand-new purpose-built hot serving counter and a high-grade coffee offering. The new counter has been designed to serve a wider range of hot food for customers to takeaway.
After being closed for a week to allow for renovation work to take place, the Alfreton bakery is now reopen to the public – serving its freshly baked cakes, famous pork pies and delicious chocolate treats, as well as takeaway food.
Mike Holling, Sales and Marketing Director at Birds Bakery, said: “We are delighted to be reopening the Alfreton doors to our new and regular customers again and to show off our newly refurbished store.
“We are continuing to invest in our stores, by refitting and modernising them to provide a new look and feel when visiting a Birds store. We are committed to providing high-quality products and customer service, and we look forward to welcoming our customers for a takeaway coffee and a slice of cake.”
The new store is open for takeaway food and drink 8am-5pm Monday to Saturday and Birds Bakery’s ring and reserve and home delivery services are still operating as usual. Through the ring and reserve service, customers can call any store to place an order, pay over the phone and then collect the order when the time is convenient.
