British Bakels launches new icing range

British Bakels announced launching a new range of icings under its Ta-Da! home baking brand. The new icings, which includes two variants that are ready-to-use, will be available for the retail and wholesale channels from 27 November.

The three new icings, which come in 370g pots, include Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing, Chocolate Ganache Style Icing, and Millionaire’s Caramel. The Madagascan Vanilla and Chocolate Ganache Style variants are ready-to-use icings for fillings and decorating cakes, meaning they are extremely convenient and versatile.

The Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing contains vanilla beans for premium taste, while the Ta-Da! Chocolate Ganache Style Icing is rich in flavour and contains Rainforest Alliance Certified chocolate.

The third new icing, Ta-Da! Millionaire’s Caramel, makes the iconic British Bakels Millionaire’s Caramel now available for home baking. Simply heated in a microwave and ready-to-use, Ta-Da! Millionaire’s Caramel is well suited for topping and filling shortbread and other sweet treats. Its rich and indulgent taste aligns with the continuing boom in brown flavours.

“Our new icings are not only an exciting addition to the Ta-Da! range, but they are set to take us to the next level with our first retail presence. As a company, British Bakels’ core business model has always been to innovate and develop products to meet consumer and customer needs and Ta-Da! is no different,” stated Michael Schofield, Marketing Manager at Bakels Group. “While home baking is steadily increasing in popularity, icing from scratch can be a challenge. Therefore, the new Ta-Da! icing range captures this market and gives us the opportunity to share the joy of baking with as many people as possible.”

Created by bakery experts, Ta-Da! offers a range of sweet and savoury mixes, fillings and now icings for everyone, from home bakers to experts.
