British Bakels releases Easter initiative

Bakery ingredients company British Bakels’ latest Easter initiative focuses on offering bakeries free assets to maximise on sales opportunities during this time, particularly over the Easter weekend, including downloadable recipes and social media content.

This is not the first campaign British Bakels has launched – in October 2022, it launched its Christmas-themed campaign designed to help bakeries bring cheer to consumers during the festive season, with downloadable recipes and other tips.

The company’s application specialists have teamed up to showcase the best of Bakels ingredients in an Easter recipe assortment, using many of the ingredients that bakers already use, comprising of a total of 39 recipes to delight shoppers.

Downloadable print and cut point of sale posters come in A3 and A4 sizes with the message ‘Hop into store to enjoy yummy Easter treats’ in a move to engage consumers. Also available are two sizes of colour counter-top display cards and two shelf wobblers with vibrant colours and patterns.

Bakers can also download a template to create posts, carousel and multiple-image style, to publish on their Instagram and Facebook accounts, including the same wording and design to encourage brand recognition from social channels to stores.

“Shoppers have a lot on their plate these days, but Easter is the perfect occasion for bakers to lift their customers’ spirits with affordable sweet treats to share with family and friends, and this Easter is all about familiar flavours, comforting textures, and eye-catching creations,” explained Michael Schofield, Marketing Manager for British Bakels. “Our consistent message to our customers is that our end-to-end support will help turn our ingredients into your sales. So, for Easter, we’ve come up with this initiative to support those bakeries who don’t have time or resource to make their own themed assets. They can enhance their offering with our recipes, and print and cut the POS, brightening up the mood while keeping costs down… It’s all there on our website, and it’s free.”
