Cinnabon releases new line of bakery items

To celebrate National Cinnamon Roll Day on 4 October, Cinnabon is offering a new line of ready-to-bake cookie doughs and ready-to-heat desserts. From 4-7 October, Cinnabon Rewards members are being offered a buy one, get one free baked good at participating Cinnabon stores.

Baked goods eligible for this offer include the Classic Roll, Minibon, BonBites – the bite-sized version of Cinnabon’s cinnamon roll – and the Center of the Roll.

“If you have ever needed another reason to order a warm, freshly baked cinnamon roll, National Cinnamon Roll Day is it,” said Michael Alberici, Vice President of Marketing, Cinnabon. “We’re excited to celebrate our favorite day of the year with our biggest offer yet.”

Schlotzsky’s, a restaurant franchise home to The Original oven-baked sandwich and buns baked from scratch, will be celebrating with their own offer. Schlotzsky’s locations that offer Cinnabon will offer guests a buy one get one free with the choice of a Classic Roll, MiniBon or Center of the Roll.

The company is also launching a new line of eight Cinnabon Bakery cookie doughs and desserts available at Walmart stores nationwide in the US.

“We are always looking for new ways to deliver indulgent bakery-inspired experiences through craveable Cinnabon treats,” explained Dave Mikita, President, Global Channels. “Just in time for National Cinnamon Roll Day, these new premium Ready-To-Bake Cookie Doughs and Ready-To-Heat Desserts showcase our hunger for innovation and provide another way for fans to get their hands on the Cinnabon taste they know and love.”

As of 1 October, customers can get the Cinnamon Roll Cookie Dough, Salted Caramel Chocolate Cookie Dough, Frosted Mini Bites and the Cinnamon Coffee Cake. From the 1 November, other bakery inspired items will be added to the shelves including the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Sugar Cookie Dough, Chocolate Chip Brownie and Red Velvet Cake.

All eight of the ready-to-bake cookie doughs and ready-to-heart desserts will retail for US$4.98 each.
