EverGrain will introduce its upcycled barley protein

EverGrain

EverGrain, a barley-based ingredient company, will be making its first appearance at Natural Products Expo West. The AB InBev subsidiary upcycles the global brewer’s spent barley grains into one of the most nutritious, sustainable, functional plant-based proteins on the market today.

The focus at NPEW will be on one of the first commercially available products in the EverGrain portfolio – EverPro upcycled barley protein. It carries the Upcycled Certification, is currently the main protein in emerging plant-based beverage brand Take Two Barley Milk and was also recently added to Arkansas start-up Airship coffee’s portfolio in the form of a barley latte.

All three products will be sampled at the EverGrain exhibit booth #221 and in the media-only “Press to Connect Happy Hours” Wednesday, March 9th and Thursday, March 10th from 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
EverGrain will also have on hand a preview of its barley compendium, written by Wendy Bazilian, DrPH, MA, RDN – a clinical practitioner, author of 9 best-selling books on eating clean and superfoods, and national media contributor. The first-ever scientific summary of nutrition, health and sustainability benefits of barley and barley spent grains will be completed this spring.
