Exhibitor Profile – FRITSCH

At iba 2025, FRITSCH is showcasing its latest innovation in pastry processing: the PROGRESSA pastry line

FRITSCH is focusing on continuity at iba 2025, Hall 12 Stand D51, and is presenting a new pastry line with a hygienic design in Düsseldorf, placing particular emphasis on good accessibility, quick cleaning and easy handling of the line. As part of the MULTIVAC Group, however, it is not just about dough processing, but also about a wide range of further solutions in the field of packaging and automation.

With the PROGRESSA pastry, FRITSCH is presenting a new hygienic line for the semi-automated production of pastry products. With regard to the hygienic design of the line in particular, FRITSCH is consistently continuing the path it started on in 2023 with the new IMPRESSA bread and is now transferring key design features to the pastry segment.

The hygienic design of individual components includes consistent use of smooth surfaces, watertight covers on threaded connections, and rounded corners where no dirt can accumulate. Fold-up knife edges, like those on the infeed table of the satellite head for example, ensure good accessibility even in relatively tight spaces. On the so-called “omega drives”, the belt can be completely relaxed in a matter of seconds, which makes cleaning under belts a quick and easy process as well. A new folding plough system and an easy-to-remove coiling-in roller with significantly reduced weight make the line easy to handle and quick to retool. As usual at FRITSCH, visitors can experience the advantages of the new FRITSCH line in four live demonstrations per day.

With the ‘Cooling@Packing’ solution from MULTIVAC, visitors can also look forward to an innovative concept for vacuum cooling and packaging. This is a vacuum application, which integrates the cooling process for bakery products into a thermoforming packaging machine. So bakery products can be packed immediately after baking, which means they remain fresh for longer and their shelf life is extended. The MULTIVAC Cooling@Packing system enables companies to make savings: on the one hand in terms of the reduced space required for cooling the bakery products, and on the other hand through reduced energy consumption during product cooling.
