From May 18th to 22nd, IMA will participate in IBA 2025, the world’s leading trade fair for the bakery industry, taking place in Düsseldorf
Hall 9, Stand 9.A11
IMA Ilapak, IMA Record, and IMA Eurosicma, part of the IMA FLX HUB, leverage over five decades of expertise in the bakery sector, with thousands of packaging systems installed globally.
At IBA 2025, IMA is excited to showcase their innovative solutions, from feeding, weighing and counting to primary, secondary and end-of-line packaging. Our technologies are tailored to a wide range of bakery products, including bread, pizza and tortillas, cakes, pastries, biscuits and cookies, wafers and frozen baked goods.
On display and in action, the following groundbreaking technologies will be featured:
IMA Ilapak’s Vegatronic 2600 Inclined, combined with the Vision 3000: a complete bagging line for bread rolls, including a vision system for inspection and counting, alongside a vertical form-fill-seal machine for packaging.
Using a combination of laser and line scan cameras, the IMA Ilapak Vision 3000 ensures accurate checking and counting operations to verify product height, length, width, and surface. Feeding products at high speed, the Vision 3000 is highly flexible, handling fresh, par-baked, frozen, and raw dough products, whether baguettes, pretzels, rolls, bagels, donuts, or croissants.
The Vision 3000 feeds the Vegatronic 2600 with a film buffer, an exclusive feature that prevents downtime. The Vegatronic 2600 can operate with 30°, 45°, or 60° inclinations and can process bags up to 580mm in width and a maximum film width of 1200mm. Both small and large bags can be used to pack fresh or frozen rolls, croissants, bagels, muffins, and more.
IMA Ilapak’s Delta OF-360 X: The world’s first variable geometry flow wrapper, capable of handling any type of sustainable wrapping material with just a touch on the machine’s HMI.
The revolutionary Delta OF-360 X is capable of running any packaging films, from paper-based films to complex laminates and recyclable mono-polymer films, with changeovers effected simply by pressing a button on the machine’s HMI. At a time when the future direction of sustainable packaging is fluid and uncertain, this HFFS solution gives manufacturers and packers total flexibility to switch easily between different substrates – whether they already exist or have yet to be developed.
As well as future-proofing factories to keep pace with packaging material changes, the Delta OF-360 X insulates manufacturers against energy price rises. The machine is built on IMA Ilapak’s new full-electric flow wrapping platform, which uses on average 37% less power than a conventional flow wrapper. IMA Ilapak’s engineers have achieved these efficiency gains by replacing energy-intensive pneumatic applications with highly efficient linear actuators.
Moreover, don’t miss the chance to explore our End-of-Line solutions, ranging from display boxes and wrap-around cases to trays with internal or external lids, as well as RSC cases.
