Hansaloy, a manufacturer of equipment for slicing baked goods, has appointed Allen Wright as president following an 18-month succession plan. Wright succeeds Kim Brenner, who led the company for 15 years and will now take on the role of executive director.
“Hansaloy has been providing bread and bun slicing blades and other products for 91 years from its Davenport, Iowa, location,” Brenner said. “We view strong, steady leadership as integral to serving that mission. To that end, Mr. Wright becomes the third president of Hansaloy in the past 34 years.”
Wright, who has been with Hansaloy for three decades, most recently held the position of vice president of sales and manufacturing. He also plays an active role in the commercial baking sector, serving as vice chair for the 2025 International Baking Industry Exposition committee. Previously, he served as BEMA chair during the 2016-2017 term and was a member of the American Society of Bakers board of directors.
“Hansaloy is committed to continuing its high level of industry service for many years to come,” Wright said. “We look forward to serving our customers.”
