Hilton Macarons Wins Silver In National Food Awards

Hot on the heels of its recent success in the Great Taste Awards, Hilton Macarons has picked up a further award in the Great British Food Awards 2024.

Judged by master patissier, Eric Lanlard, in the Sweet Bakes category, the brand was awarded a Silver Award for its Passionfruit Chocolate Macaron, a flavour originally a creation of Pierre Hermé, the undisputed master of macarons. The combination of sharp passion fruit juice with rich milk chocolate results in a smooth ganache that wonderfully enhances the taste of both.

“We are delighted to win another national award for our Macarons, particularly as these have been judged by Eric Lanlard, a true patissier master,” comments Steve Magnall, owner of Hilton Macarons. “We take great pride in producing macaron to the very highest standard so awards such as these make the teams’ skill and effort worthwhile.

The Great British Food Awards were launched in 2014 to celebrate the country’s finest artisanal produce, as well as the hard-working people behind the scenes. This year was the awards’ biggest to date.

Hilton Macarons are handmade in Suffolk using only the finest ingredients. Its Italian meringue shells are made with free-range eggs, whilst its fillings are comprised of Belgian chocolate, all natural flavours, and contain nothing artificial. All its macarons are vegetarian and entirely gluten-free.
