Koenig Bakery Systems USA announces leadership transition

The Koenig Group, a leading manufacturer of bakery equipment, today announced a planned leadership transition as Richard Breeswine prepares for his retirement from Koenig after 18 years of dedicated service and nearly 40 years in food machinery sales. Effective March 1st, Jake Levy will assume the role of President and Chief Executive Officer, ensuring a seamless transition and growth for the company.

Richard Breeswine has been instrumental in shaping Koenig Bakery Systems’ success, leading significant expansion in market development, product innovation, and sales growth. Under his leadership, the company has strengthened its position as a trusted industry leader for bakery machinery in the USA. He will remain with the company during a transition period to support Jake and his team.

Jake Levy, a seasoned executive and Koenig Bakery Systems’ longest-tenured employee, has 18 years of experience with the company. He has played a key role in the team, with previous positions as a service technician, service and parts manager, general manager, sales executive, and company officer. His deep understanding of the company and the market, combined with his personal commitment, make him the ideal successor.
