Koenig Group recently presented a new solution for the bakery industry, having launched the Industrie Rex V AW EC dough dividing and rounding machine.
A fully automated solution, the dough dividing and rounding machine sets the new benchmark for quality and performance requirements. With a maximum dough throughput of 6.5 tonnes per hour and the Koenig ‘Easy Clean Design’, the performance and hygiene standards are optimally combined.
The Easy Clean Design saves time and resources through efficient cleaning and simplified maintenance for maximum line availability. With an open design, the machine offers insight and complete control of dough processing. Additionally, the standard horizontal surfaces are bevelled at a 45 degree angle, which reduces the build-up of flour and dough residue, and the spreading belt can be fully extended.
“With this innovation, we have built the machine of the future,” stated Hannes Stelzer, CEO, Koenig, about the new development.
With an hourly output of 50,400 pieces per hour in a 14-row operation, the company is offering a new standard for industrial dough processing.
Koenig’s core competence rests in dough dividing and rounding. The ‘Rex’ head machines are used in bakeries around the world and more than 12,000 machines have been sold. The Industrie Rex V AW EC is the most powerful machine to date in this segment.
