MECATHERM receives awards for M-VT

MECATHERM is proud to announce having received two prestigious awards for its new M-VT oven. The solution, which was unveiled at the iba trade fair last month, received the iba Award 2023 in the Oven category and the Gulfood Industry Excellence Award 2023 in the Best Processing Innovation category at Gulfood Manufacturing in Dubai.

The M-VT oven, which was first shown at iba, is designed to offer high industrial performance and product quality for a range of products such as bread, patisserie and pastries, while reducing energy consumption. Its connectivity also enables data connection and processing, providing a performance report and monitoring energy consumption.

“These two awards are a true recognition of the work we have accomplished and our capacity for innovation. Once again, it positions MECATHERM as one of the most innovative companies in the bakery sector,” said Olivier Sergent, President of TMG. “The performance of our equipment is recognized by the iba Award Jury, composed of sector experts, and also by the Gulfood Manufacturing Industry Excellence prize. This acknowledges us, for the first time, alongside the major players in the food sector. We are very proud to have received this award.”

“This new M-VT oven is the culmination of three years of development involving many of our employees, all aiming to offer industrial players a baking solution that supports them in their daily challenges of product quality, industrial performance, and sustainable development,” added Raymond Nogael, Vice President Global Marketing and Business Development, TMG/MECATHERM. “To achieve this, we have rethought all the concepts of the vertical oven, such as airflow circuit, conveying system, heating, and hygrometry management. This award recognizes the work of all those involved in the project, and we are very proud of it.”

The result of years of research and development is a collection of innovations serving sustainable development, particularly with regards to the energy transition. The topic of helping customers to transition to more sustainable methods of processing and baking is an important topic to MECATHERM, as they look to provide solutions that help to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
