Meet Leading Bakery Brands at IFE 2025

IFE, part of Food, Drink & Hospitality Week, returns to Excel London on 17-19 March, offering networking opportunities, insightful discussions, and a showcase of high-quality brands.

For over 40 years, IFE has been an essential trade event for food, drink, and hospitality professionals, providing a platform to discover the latest trends and products shaping the UK and international food and drink landscape. With a strong focus on innovation and quality, the event facilitates connections, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing to drive business success.

With 15 dedicated food and drink zones, IFE reflects the breadth and diversity of the industry, from speciality foods to health, organic, and natural products. The Bakery, Snacks & Confectionery section returns for 2025, featuring a range of leading bakery brands from across the globe.

The Future Food Stage at IFE is set to be an essential destination for industry professionals seeking insights into evolving consumer preferences and purchasing behaviours. Covering topics from shifting demographics to disruptive innovation, this year’s agenda will explore key developments shaping the future of food and drink.

The panel discussion ‘Forgotten Shoppers: Embracing Overlooked Demographics in Food & Drink,’ moderated by Karen Green, Founder of Buyerology Ltd, will examine untapped consumer groups with significant spending potential. Speakers include Christarose Maphosa (Tesco), Kieran South (North Star), and Rebecca Oliver-Mooney (Raising the Glass), who will provide strategies for engaging these influential audiences.

For those looking to understand how retailers are accelerating innovation, ‘Revolutionising Retail: How Accelerators and Incubators Are Shaping the Future’ will be an unmissable session. Moderated by Theadora Alexander, CEO of YF, the discussion will highlight how supermarket and wholesaler incubators are supporting startups, featuring insights from representatives of Bidfood, Co-op, and Iceland.

Kate Kehoe, Marketing Manager at FMCG Gurus, will present ‘Consumer Trends in 2025: Three Key Things to Monitor Over the Next Twelve Months,’ offering an in-depth analysis of shifting consumer behaviours and priorities influencing purchasing decisions in the year ahead. These sessions will provide valuable industry insights into future developments in the food and drink sector.
