Mochi baking mix brand at IBIE

Texture Maker, a creator of baking and beverage mixes, is introducing a new brand Mochi baking mix brand known as Chewco at IBIE.

Making its debut in the food trading world booth at the expo, Chewco will offer cutting-edge technology, data collection and digital services, to provide a range of solutions for all food sectors. Chewco aims to be a future-oriented brand by investing in digital technologies and developing AR assistance, improving customer efficiency. Chewco is set to launch in the first quarter of 2023.

Chewco will be teaming up with doughnut-making equipment manufacturer Belshaw Adamatic, and developing a special formula for its latest Robot V series. Using a krinkle plunger, the robot will produce treats such as the min-mochi doughnuts and mochi loukoumades, a chewy twist on the Greek delicacy.

It’s also partnered with iMVending, the smart sampling machine which will present samples of mochi doughnuts for attendees to taste. The two brands will work together in the future to develop feedback collection tools that will allow baking professionals to provide products that match the tastes and preferences of their customers.

“IBIE is a great opportunity to connect with the industry and share innovative ideas, and Chewco’s offering completely aligns with the latest trends in the indulgence sector,” said Tammy Liu, Vice President of Chewco.

Chewco will be displaying the original, vegan and gluten-free products they are known for: Texture Makers’ signature Taiwanese rice and Tapioca flour items. Visitors to the event will also be able to sample their Doughnut series – a non yeast-based mix – their waffle/pancake series, snack series and select series – consisting of ready-to-eat Konjac Jelly Boba and Mini Q suitable as dessert toppings.

With the inclusion of gluten and vegan options, it aims to provide its customers with products that suit them, “being completely ethical while remaining in demand”.
