AMF Bakery Systems’ APEX Mini Combo BDR Bread and Bun Line is the ideal solution for bakeries who are interested in automated systems that are reliable and easy to operate 

For bakeries, or even bakery test centres and ingredients laboratories in need of a solution that enables them to move from a manual operation to semi-automation operation, the AMF APEX Mini Combo BDR Bread and Bun Line is perfectly designed for low-capacity lines. It offers the opportunity to produce Buns, Rolls and Bread on one single, seamless setup.  

From the continuous feeding of the divider with dough to the in-line sheeter/moulder with flexible settings and changeovers, bakers can make products such as soft breads like toast and multigrain bread, while buns and rolls like hamburger, hot dog buns and dinner rolls are also all possible. 

Enabling easy operation 

For bakers who want to semi-automate their production but still want to have control over the process, the Mini Combo BDR Bread and Bun Line has been designed with easy operation at the forefront of the system.  

The standard unit offers advantages such as a Recipe Control Management Control System, an operator interface-based system which ensures consistent and repeatable automated divider and quicker changeover. The elimination of divider oil reduces associated operating and sanitation costs, as bakery production continues to have high demands for hygiene and sanitation.  

For tapping into new and growing markets while ensuring high quality products that will provide consumers with delicious taste and texture experiences, bakers need systems that allow them to grow as their capacity increases. 

Different configurations produce tasty products 

The modularity of the APEX Mini Combo BDR Bread and Bun Line offers different possible configurations. Throughput capacities range from producing 2400 buns per hour to 7200 buns per hour, and 600 bread pieces to 1800 bread pieces an hour. 

Bread, Buns & Rolls and Bread, Buns & Rolls are all possible configurations. With the Bread configuration of the line, the divider is a single port, with a large MEGA bar for bread rounding, and Bread Moulding Boards. For the Bun configuration, there is a dual port cut-off on the divider, and dual lane bun rounder bars. There is an option for both Bread & Buns that will comprise both cut-off nozzles, both sets of rounding bars. 

If Hot Dog production is required, there is an option for a Hot Dog Moulder Board Set, 2 lanes. The standard size is for a 6” (150mm) Hot Dog bun. Other sizes can be quoted as an option.
