Unox UK appoints Giacomo Pischiutti as new corporate chef

Ovens supplier Unox UK has announced the appointment of pastry chef Giacomo Pischiutti as its new UK corporate chef based at the company’s Experience Centre located in Surrey.

The Experience Centre was first opened July 2022 in Camberley, Surrey, housing a kitchen, connected service, training academy and warehouse and office facilities. The multi-million pound investment was a project that began 18 months prior, having worked with UK sustainability consultants featuring sustainable materials.

Corporate chefs – including Giacomo – are based in the development kitchen, with latest speed oven and combi oven solutions, where customers of the company can attend live, virtual and interactive demos and witness the performance of its commercial ovens.

According to the company, Giacomo’s pastry and patisserie experience on top of his understanding of precise temperature, humidity and airflow levels, will enable him to help the company in developing new features and equipment.

Giacomo’s working history includes his training as a pastry chef at the International School of Pastry Arts in Spain and working as a private chef for a Russian family in London.

Giacomo explained that his background in pastry and patisserie would help him in this role. ““With my background in pastry and patisserie, I understand the need for quality, consistency and precision in the kitchen – all elements Unox equipment is known to deliver.”

“I’m excited to be able to put my previous experience into practice, supporting customers and our product development team to get the best from the Unox range. Given the company’s continued growth and future plans, the opportunity couldn’t have come at a better time,” he added.

“Not only can Giacomo be found in our development kitchen, but he is regularly visiting our customers, partners, dealers and distributors to help them to get the most out of their Unox ovens,” commented Scott Duncan, Managing Director of Unox UK.
