Simon brings over 12 years of experience in the Chemical and Biotech sectors, with a focus on process optimisation and resource conservation. Starting his career as a production engineer in the UK speciality chemical industry, he later transitioned to commercial roles with Dow Chemical and Dupont across Europe. Originally from the Channel Islands, Simon’s passion for sustainability has driven him to lead IFF’s Food Enzymes business, where he has made significant strides in promoting a more sustainable approach to industry practices. As a leader, Simon is dedicated to challenging the status quo and advancing the role of enzymes in creating a more sustainable future.
