The International Baking Industry Exposition (IBIE)—known as “The Baking Expo”—returns to Las Vegas this September, transforming the city into the global hub for baking innovation, education, and business. As the largest grain-based food event in the Western Hemisphere, IBIE connects bakers, equipment manufacturers, suppliers, and thought leaders for five days of trade, demonstration, and discovery.
Las Vegas Convention Center will pulsate with more than 1 million sq ft of exhibit space this September, as IBIE gathers over 21,000 professionals from more than 100 countries. A true “working show,” it’s where exhibitors close deals daily and attendees scout tomorrow’s baking technology.
Run by the American Bakers Association (ABA), the Bakery Equipment Manufacturers and Allieds (BEMA), and supported by the Retail Bakers of America (RBA), IBIE is a not-for-profit event—all proceeds are channeled back into industry research, education, and growth. That mission underscores every showcase and seminar.
“With each IBIE, we try to surpass ourselves, and we’re achieving that in 2025.” says planner Jorge Zarate, reflecting the expo’s relentless drive for innovation.
Education That Empowers
IBIEducate, the expo’s powerhouse learning platform, offers over 100 sessions—from hands-on demonstrations to panel discussions on automation, sustainability, and supply chain resilience. The event also hosts competitions like the Cake Decorating contest and the World Bread Awards USA, ensuring both skill development and industry recognition.
Innovation in Every Booth
Expect to see the cutting edge of bakery tech: from robotics and AI-guided production lines to eco-friendly packaging and new ingredient blends. Separate innovation pavilions—including Artisan, Snack Food, and Retail Centers—allow focused experiences on emerging trends . Organisers report the show floor is already 98% sold out, hinting at a vibrant and jam-packed event.
Business, Networking & Global Reach
Nearly a third of attendees come from outside the U.S., ensuring a multicultural marketplace ripe for global partnerships. Many companies report up to 88% of attendees buying or specifying new equipment at IBIE—making it a prime venue to close deals.
ABA and RBA members receive benefits like 25‑30% savings on booth space and registration, plus priority placement on the floor—an advantage organizers hope translates into even greater value and return.
From September 13–17, 2025, IBIE 2025 transforms Las Vegas into the epicentre of baking excellence. Whether you’re scaling production, pushing artisan craft, or pioneering new ingredients, IBIE offers the insights, tools, and contacts to rise above the competition. Be there when the industry comes together to bake the future.
