Yorkshire Handmade Pies has appointed Mike Driver as Chief Marketing Officer (CMO). Yorkshire Handmade Pies make classic pies that showcase the ingredients produced in Yorkshire. Owned by Sturdy Foods the brand has achieved exceptional success in the last 12 months with its unique high-quality pie eating experience.
Mike Driver has over 30 years business, marketing, innovation, and digital marketing experience, with significant “hands-on” and blue-chip Director level experience. His experience spans consumer goods, food and drink, nutrition, bio-sciences, and e-commerce, including Board level UK and global positions within Muller, Northern Foods, McCain Foods and Clasado Biosciences.
Driver will be responsible for all brand marketing and strategic direction for the brand. James Sturdy, Managing Director, Yorkshire Handmade Pies, and Sturdy Foods said: “We are delighted to have appointed Mike. Driver also has significant experience in coaching and business consultancy working with start-ups, SME’s, and new brands, and he has direct experience of successfully developing brands and businesses in every type of retail, foodservice, online, and out of home food sectors. Driver holds a master’s degree from Cranfield University in Digital Marketing, as well as two postgraduate qualifications in Marketing Management, plus a BA Hons degree from Sheffield University.
