The Food Safety Summit has officially announced the event will be rescheduled due to the rapid spread of the Coronavirus.

The Summit is a solution-based conference and expo designed to meet the educational and informational needs of the food industry including growers, processors, retailers, distributors, foodservice operators, regulators and academia. The Summit provides a four-day comprehensive educational programme to learn from subject matter experts, trainers, exchange ideas and find solutions to your current job challenges. The Summit is expected to have an expansive Exhibit Hall packed with progressive vendors and exclusive networking events to help attendees make meaningful industry connections.

The organisers released this statement explaining the situation, which read:

“Dear Food Safety Summit Community,

We have been monitoring the evolving situation around COVID-19/Coronavirus which is changing rapidly. The health and safety of our attendees, sponsors, vendors and staff at the Food Safety Summit is our top priority.

Due to the magnitude of the situation, we have postponed this event until October 19 – 22.

Please look for important follow up communications from the Food SafetySummit and its parent company, BNP Media, and related vendors that will include logistical details resulting from the postponement.

We value the support and feedback of everyone involved in preparing for these important events and appreciate your professionalism, patience and understanding during these truly extraordinary times.
