Hostess Bouncers launch

With the new launch of Hostess Bouncers, Hostess Brands is providing customers with a new way to experience its well-known snacks – Twinkies, Ding Dongs and Donettes – with bite-sized snack cakes containing creamy fillings.

“Consumers increasingly are looking for snackable, poppable, shareable treats that offer a sweet reward without the mess, and that’s exactly what Hostess Bouncers deliver,” explained Christopher Balach, General Manager of Hostess Brands. “We’re excited to roll out mini variations of some of our most-loved creations as the perfect sweet surprises in any lunch box.”

The Hostess Bouncers come in three flavours: Hostess Bouncers Glazed Twinkies are baked with vanilla and have a creamy filling inside a lightly glazed golden cake, Hostess Bouncers Glazed Chocolate Ding Dongs are made with real cocoa and have a lightly glazed chocolate cake with creamy filing, and Hostess Bouncers Cinnamon Donettes are baked with real cinnamon and have a sweet filing inside a glazed cake doughnut hole.

Each multi-pack box of Hostess Bouncers contains five packable, portable pouches with three Bouncers per pouch.

The company is also launching six new, autumn-flavoured treats offering fans their favourite snacks in autumn- and Halloween-inspired selections this September. Returning snacks include Pumpkin Spice Flavoured Twinkies, Caramel Crunch Donettes and ScaryCakes.

“As fall approaches, consumers are eager to get their hands on popular fall flavors like pumpkin spice, cinnamon and caramel,” said Christopher Balach. “We’re excited for fall snacking enthusiasts to try our new Hostess Creepy Caramel Ding Dongs, which are a delicious, spooky addition to our fun Halloween lineup.”

Each of the seasonal snacks are available in a multi-pack at a suggested retail price of US$3.99. The autumn-themed snacks will be available in grocery retailers nationwide in the US starting in September, while the Halloween snacks will roll out in October.
