Bridor wins Best Food Supplier Award

French bakery manufacturer Bridor has been awarded Best Food Supplier in Europe at the 2022 European Coffee Awards, part of Allegra’s European Coffee Symposium.

Recognising excellence across the European coffee and food-to-go industry, this year’s European Coffee Awards returned as an in-person event for its 13th year, and was held at the Langham Hotel in London. The shortlist for the Awards was chosen from over 800 entries.

Accepting the award on behalf of the Bridor UK team, Ray Conway, National Account Controller, joined industry leaders from the European coffee, foodservice and hospitality industries.

Bridor’s award win was in recognition of its commitment to excellence and strong business performance and comes after what the company is calling a “prosperous” 12 months. The company saw its product range expand further and collaborated with high-profile partners.

Traditional French patisserie has remained fundamental to the company as it provides for the international market with indulgent pastries, keeping up with the latest innovations and consumer trends. With its continued focus on new product development, recent announcements including its new Mini Filled Croissants range and collaboration with The Laughing Cow, all demonstrate its ongoing commitment to excellence and innovation.

“It is a delight to see the foodservice and hospitality industries come together in person to celebrate innovation and creativity. More so, it is an honour to receive this accolade and celebrate our work within the food-to-go category. We’re excited to continue on our journey for excellence, looking for ways to innovate and develop exciting products that honour and celebrate French baking customs,” commented Erwan Inizan, Northern Europe Sales Director at Bridor.

In August, Bridor celebrated its 10 year anniversary and took a look back on traditional French patisserie which have managed to stand the test of time including its traditional macarons available in eight flavours, its financiers and collaborations with Maison Lenôtre which saw macarons and Petit Fours introduced.
