Celebrate World Bread Day with Bridor’s French Bakery Expertise

French bakery manufacturer, Bridor, is celebrating World Bread Day on 16th October with its range of unique and desirable breads expertly designed for caterers and retailers. Made with high-quality ingredients, Bridor is committed to using its expansive industry know-how to share bakery traditions from around the world.

Bridor’s range of breads takes inspiration from baking practices from around the world, using unique shapes, ingredients and inclusions to bring delicious flavours that are synonymous with the product’s place of origin. Some examples of these include:

The Caractère Baguette is a 280g baguette with a shorter, chunkier shape than the traditional baguettes available on the market. Its irregular polka-style scoring gives the baguette a rustic look and the crumb has an appealing honeycomb texture thanks to its sourdough fermentation and high hydration rate.

Available in boxes of 22, these baguettes can be baked from frozen in 11-13 minutes at 210˚C.

Bridor’s Rustikal Brot range was created in collaboration with German brand Kamps to showcase the best of German rye and wholegrain bread. The Volkorn Triangle is made with 100% rye flour and contains rye sourdough. The bread has a dense crumb enriched with seeds (sunflower, flax and sesame) and the loaves are entirely covered with seeds for a crispy crust and attractive look.

Another variety of Bridor’s Rustikal Brot is the Kürbiskern Bread. Made with rye flour and wheat flour with sweet notes, the bread has a dense crumb and a 19% seed content. Entirely covered in pumpkin and sunflower seeds for a crunchier texture, this bread is an attractive, high fibre bread for all occasions.

The Volkorn Triangle is sold in boxes of 12 and the Kürbiskern bread in boxes of 7 and both breads can be baked from frozen in 25 minutes at 210°C.
