Erika Record Baking Equipment has announced it has become the official US distributor of HYDROPROCESS’ ChefCut, a waterjet cutting machine used for dividing pastries, chocolates and delicatessen products.
Designed and manufactured in France, HYDROPROCESS brings over 35 years of waterjet innovation to the food industry. ChefCut works as a high-precision, sanitary slicing solution that utilises the power of waterjet technlogy.
Since the first model was released in 2001, HYDROPROCESS claims the machine has replaced conventional cutting tools such as a knife, cookie cutter and mandoline slicer. The machine uses a waterjet sprayed by a nozzle to cut fresh and frozen foods at a pressure of 3000 bar and up to 300mm per second.
Compact and easy to program, the pastry cutting tool has applications for pastry chefs, chocolatiers and caterers around the world.
The machine features easy-to-use touchscreen controls which allow for easy programming and operation. Operators can choose from a wide assortment of built-in shapes or use free, included software to draft and design custom creations that can be transferred over USB and WiFi. This software can also help to reduce product waste by laying out designs.
As the official US distributor, Erika Record Baking Equipment offers customers industry technical support and customer service, including access to their US based service team as well as training and startup services with each machine purchase.
