Cama Group is delighted to announce the appointment of Pierre Therville as the new Manager for the company’s operations in France.
In addition to his role as Country Manager, Therville will remain in his business-development role at the forefront of Cama’s rapidly growing and expanding dairy industry operations.
His industrial experiences commenced in 1984, which saw him working in various roles in the processing and food sectors. He originally joined Cama in 1990 in his present role as the Country Manager in France, with a focus on business development. Having left the company in 2000, he re-joined in 2017 and, following the departure of his predecessor, was once again offered the role of Country Manager.
“I like to think that business development is part of my DNA,” Therville explained. “I thrive upon developing customer relationships and teamworking towards common goals. As well as recognising my ability to manage operations on a national scale, Daniele Bellante, Managing Director at Cama Group, set me the challenge to grow the company’s dairy offering.
“Three years ago, we had nothing in this sector,” he explained, “but by 2019 we had grown this to €7.5 million. 2020 will certainly not be a true reflection of our growing capabilities and market acceptance, but I am sure we will continue the incredibly positive upwards trend once the pandemic has passed.”
Therville heads a very dedicated French team, comprising mechanical and software service engineers, sales operatives, sales-support personnel and office-support staff.
