Popular sandwich chain, Subway, has announced it has released a range of four new mini sandwiches called Toasted Bites. The snacks are for those who may not want to eat bigger sandwiches and fancy a light lunch on the go.
Toasted Bites are available with the classic Subway fillings such as ham and cheese, tuna melt, steak and cheese or just cheese. They are now on the menu for £1.29 each. It includes options like a ciabatta bite roll filled with its American-style cheese and two veggies of the customer’s choice or ham, topped with melted American-style cheese and two veggies of their choice.
It has also recently launched a meatless version of its classic Sub Meatball Marinara that vegans and vegetarians can enjoy. The Meatless Meatball Marinara features plant-based meatballs in tomato sauce, topped with melted vegan cheese.
“We’re always shaking up our menu at Subway as we are constantly innovating. Our guests wanted a meatless version of our iconic Sub, so we made it for them,” said Colin Hughes, Country Director Subway UK and Ireland.
“The Meatless Meatball Marinara is equally as delicious as the original, and a tempting choice for all our guests, whether they are looking for a plant-based alternative, or simply want to enjoy something a little different.”
