Bakery Live introduces Florian Biehle

Ahead of the must-attend virtual event Bakery Live happening this month, 21-22 February, we are pleased to announce our next speaker; Florian Biehle, Category Lead Bakery, Snacks & Confectionery EMEA at Ingredion.

Florian is the Category Lead for Bakery, Snacks and Confectionery in EMEA. He is based in Hamburg, with close to 7 years with Ingredion. Florian has a strong technical background and started his career as a pastry chef before moving into the industry, where he excelled in different application areas such as bakery and confectionery.

Consumer behaviours and trends can be continually evolving, which is why it is important to remain apace of them; at Bakery Live, attendees will be treated to a wealth of insights on trends observed in the global bakery market.

On the other end, bakery manufacturers must understand how they can meet these consumer demands such as health and wellness from a technical perspective as reformulating bakery products to reduce levels of fat, sugar and salt can be challenging.

In his session at Bakery Live, Florian Biehle will focus on Ingredion’s capabilities from a holistic perspective, including both ‘better-for-you’ as well as creating indulgence in salty and sweet biscuits and cookies.

As part of this focus, Florian will explore how manufacturers can meet consumer demands in relation to ‘better-for-you’ and indulgence while delivering on the right texture by utilising the right texturising solutions.
