International Union of Bakers and Confectioners

The International Union of Bakers and Confectioners (UIBC) is a global federation representing the interests of the bakery and pastry professions.

Its roots trace back to 1931, when early post World War I cooperation among European,  bakers complemented by ILO and WHO initiatives, led to the formation of the Union Internationale de la Boulangerie (UIB).

Headquartered in Madrid, Spain, UIBC remains committed to strengthening international collaboration, advancing professional excellence, and celebrating the cultural and nutritional significance of bread and pastry craftsmanship.
