High-speed cartoning and seamless integration
Developed for side-loading applications, the cartoners collate products using servo-driven article bucket handling systems before loading them into erected, pre-glued cartons. Products can be supplied directly from upstream processing equipment or via Cama‘s robotic top-loading modules, enabling seamless integration into fully automated packaging lines.
A key advantage of the CL 156-169 platform is its ability to maintain reliable carton handling even at elevated production speeds. To support consistent operation, the machines can be equipped with an air-blast carton opening system designed to ensure accurate and dependable carton erection during high-speed production cycles.
Operational versatility is central to the machine design. The platform can handle a wide range of primary packaging formats, including flowpacks, pouches and thermoformed packs, while multiple loading configurations allow the system to be tailored to different product characteristics and factory layouts. The range is particularly suited to bakery and biscuit applications, where manufacturers often need to manage growing product diversity and frequent format changes.
Flexible formats and operational efficiency
The CL series also benefits from Cama’s Break Through Generation design philosophy, combining a modular machine architecture with energy-efficient operation, improved ergonomics, and simplified maintenance access. Semi-automatic format changeovers further help reduce downtime and support greater production flexibility.
By combining high-speed cartoning, format adaptability and seamless integration with upstream processing and robotic handling systems, the CL 156-169 range provides bakery manufacturers with a future-ready packaging solution. It is particularly well suited to increasingly automated production environments where maximising throughput, maintaining operational efficiency and responding quickly to changing market demands are critical success factors.
