Rondo Launches the Starline 5

After five years of intensive development and testing, RONDO is launching the Starline 5, a new generation of high-performance dough processing lines. In the bakery industry, the name “Starline” has always stood for maximum rated power, simple operation and a wide variety of products. The Starline 5 sets new standards in these areas.

RONDO maintains a close relationship with its customers and knows the daily challenges in pastry production firsthand. The Starline 5 was developed precisely for this everyday practice. It impresses with well-thought-out functions such as the flexible arrangement of accessories or a newly designed guillotine with servo stroke – all of which make the work of bakers around the world much easier.

One Line – unlimited possibilities

The Starline 5 can be used to produce countless pastries including puff pastry, Danish pastry, yeast dough, shortcrust pastry, and various bread rolls. Thanks to the large number of flexibly positionable accessories, a wide variety of shapes, fillings and decorations are possible. The newly developed control panel, which can be moved along the line, ensures even greater adaptability. Trends or changes on the market? No problem – with the expandable table profile and the specially developed control software, the Starline 5 can be easily adapted to new requirements.

Maximum productivity with consistent quality

The Starline 5 is designed for multi-shift operation. It achieves maximum rated power thanks to a travelling guillotine and quick-clamping systems of its accessories, which enable rapid product changeovers. The completely redesigned guillotine moves synchronously with the conveyor belt, ensuring even more precise cuts. This increases both production time and quantity – with consistently high product quality. This can be increased even further, as the machine can be adjusted precisely to the respective dough’s properties.

Easy to operate – easy to clean

Operation of the Starline 5 is intuitive and can be learned very quickly. The clearly laid out software, in combination with clearly labelled controls and accessories, allows less trained personnel to operate the machine safely. The cleaning process of the Starline 5 has been thought through from the ground up: the machine is clearly laid out and easily accessible for quick cleaning. The Quick-release belt, stirrups for drying the conveyor belt and components that can be removed without tools make cleaning much easier.

Starline 5 was presented to RONDO dealers and customers for the first time at the RONDO World Conference in mid-May. RONDO is looking forward to presenting this innovation to the general public at IBIE 2025 in Las Vegas.
