MECATHERM, a designer and manufacturer of equipment and automated production lines for bakery, viennoiserie, pastry, and prepared food products, announces the appointment of Alyson Slapkauskas as Head of Global Supply Chain & Operational Excellence. This appointment complements her current responsibilities as CEO for North America for the ABI and MECATHERM brands.
This appointment reaffirms MECATHERM’s commitment to pursuing its development strategy, based on operational excellence and outstanding customer relationships.
Based in Toronto, Alyson SLAPKAUSKAS will oversee Supply Chain and Operational Excellence at the Group level, leveraging the complementary expertise of MECATHERM and ABI.
With teams located in France, the United States, Canada, and more recently Poland, MECATHERM and ABI serve customers in over 75 countries.

Alyson SLAPKAUSKAS’ Background
Alyson began her career in procurement and has over 25 years of experience in operational leadership across North America (United States, Canada, and Mexico). She has managed multi-site operations with more than a thousand employees, primarily in the aerospace & defense systems industry including landing gear, electronic systems, and major structural components sectors.
Alyson SLAPKAUSKAS was appointed CEO of ABI in March 2023. In 2025, her responsibilities expanded to include leadership of MECATHERM North America. After successfully leading the North American region, her role now extends globally as Head of Supply Chain and Operational Excellence.
