Baker & Baker, a leading European bakery products manufacturer, has introduced a Christmas doughnut in the UK.  The doughnut, the latest sweet treat launched by the company in 2025, has been introduced to help customers drive sales over the festive season.

The new treat is a delicious doughnut with a cocoa crème filling, cocoa icing and multi-coloured seasonal themed sugar decoration.  The Christmas doughnut is egg free, contains no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives and is suitable for vegetarians.

“Christmas is a prime time for customers to maximise sales”, comments Helen Sinclair, UK marketing manager at Baker & Baker. “The festive doughnut, with its eye-catching toppings, taps into the consumer trend for products that visually correspond with a season, and will support our customers in driving sales during this crucial period.”

The thaw and serve Christmas doughnuts are a limited edition to Baker & Baker’s portfolio of sweet treats and are available from October.  The product should be consumed within two days when stored at ambient temperature.

It is available to foodservice and bakery wholesalers through the usual channels. A range of marketing assets have been created to support the launch, including a digital toolkit containing banners and images.  In addition, the company will be sharing a series of tips through digital channels with specific guidance on maximising sales over the Christmas period.
