Bakery Live introduces Stéphanie Brillouet

Ahead of the must-attend virtual event Bakery Live happening this month, 21-22 February, we are pleased to announce our next speaker; Stéphanie Brillouet, Marketing Director at Délifrance UK.

Stéphanie has over 25 years marketing experience in the food industry with the last 10 years specialising in bakery. In her current role, Stéphanie uses consumer trends and category insight to drive the UK & Ireland strategy and product development for the business. She works closely with foodservice and retail customers to translate consumer and customer needs into solutions and products.

A major topic covered at Bakery Live will be consumer insights; how bakery manufacturers can capitalise on trends and growth opportunities within the market as they face challenges related to the rise costs of raw materials and manufacturing, alongside the cost-of-living crisis and consumers reducing their spend on indulgences.

Offering insights into consumer behaviours and purchasing powers can be incredibly beneficial. In her session at Bakery Live, Stéphanie will cover the UK bread market, as it is currently worth £7.8bn and forecast to grow by more than £1bn by 2026. A 15% rise in value to £9bn clearly shows that consumers’ love of bread shows no sign of slowing. Therefore, there is a huge opportunity for retailers and suppliers to take a slice of this growth by aligning with innovative solutions and embracing the evolving trends in the bread category. As consumers’ passion for bread remains steadfast, it is important to craft unique, quality offerings that resonate with changing preferences.

Stéphanie will explore 5 key bakery trends shaping the category and that offer actionable insights for operators right now. From the continued growth of sourdough and the opportunities offered by breads from across the globe, to consumer attitudes to bread including what drives their purchasing decisions, how consumption differs in and out of home, and the impact of consumers’ environmental and economic concerns.

Join 1000+ attendees from 83 countries in attending Bakery Live, the dedicated online platform for providing the latest insights and market trends for the global bakery industry.
