Bakery Live partners with FMCG Gurus

Bakery Live is pleased to announce that it will be partnering with market research company FMCG Gurus in the launch of its first edition, which will be co-located this year alongside established confectionery event Confectionery Live, on 20-21 June.

Knowledge partner FMCG Gurus are a market research company providing key consumer insights by analysing data to understand consumer habits and motivations in the fast-moving consumer goods industry.

As part of the knowledge partnership, Emily Ann Smith, Data Analyst and Editorial Executive at FMCG Gurus will be delivering a session on ‘Consumer’s Attitudes and Behaviours Towards Bakery Trends’.

In a challenging market today, it is essential bakeries and producers can learn how they can better target consumers.

In that spirit, Emily’s session will outline trends identified by the company in relation to the bakery industry, highlighting consumer attitudes’ and behaviours towards bakeries in the current climate. This will span areas including ingredients, flavours, health and sustainability claims, as Emily’s session will comprehensively cover what consumers are prioritising when it comes to buying baked goods.

“We’re excited to be partnering with Bakery Live for the launch of the first-ever edition, bringing the bakery industry together to discuss challenges and solutions around sustainability,” said Will Cowling, Marketing Manager at FMCG Gurus. “As a market research company, we are at the forefront of latest trends and developments and look forward to sharing our valuable insight.”

“Bakery Live will be the new, go-to dedicated experience for the bakery industry,” commented Jon Pittock, Publisher, Hand Media. “As the market continually changes it is important those working in the industry are able to keep pace.
