UK manufacturer and distributor of bakery ingredients British Bakels is adding a range of exciting fruit fillings to their Ta-Da! home baking range, launched direct to consumer last summer through their dedicated consumer website.
Crafted by bakery experts who have over 115 years of baking know-how, the Ta-Da! range offers a variety of sweet and savoury mixes and now fillings for everyone to enjoy.
Available from June 2023, Ta-Da!’s new fruit fillings are packed with whole fruit pieces and include flavours strawberry, dark cherry and wild blueberry. They are suitable for vegans and are ready to use straight from the pouch.
Ta-Da! is also launching a new Lemon Creamy filling with a smooth texture and suitable for home bakers to add a pop of flavour to their favourite bakes. The Lemon Creamy filling is egg-free, non-dairy, free from palm oil and contains no artificial flavours.
The fillings are designed to be easy to use at home, with high versatility and bake stability and come with recyclable packaging. All four new fillings – Strawberry, Dark Cherry, Wild Blueberry and Lemon Creamy – are freeze-thaw stable, meaning they are ready for consumers to bake their favourite creations and then freeze to enjoy later.
According to Innova’s 2022 report Flavour Insider: Trends in Fruit Flavours report, the flavour aspects that most influence consumer food and beverage choices reflect a desire for a blend of new sensations and nostalgia. Familiar flavours come top (47%), followed by traditional and nostalgic flavours (37%) and comforting flavours (34%), ahead of new, unique, and different flavours (26%).

Ta-Da!’s new Fruit and Lemon Creamy fillings are available at UK£2.80 for 400g across the board exclusively from the website.
