Dr Nico Haßmann (58) was appointed with effect from 1 February as Managing Director Sales of FRITSCH Bakery Technologies GmbH & Co. KG, which is based in Markt Einersheim. He had already occupied the position of Commercial Managing Director since March 2024 on an interim basis.

“During his time as interim Managing Director, Dr Haßmann has shown great sensitivity and leadership skills, as well as initiating important projects at FRITSCH that will help us achieve our strategic goals,” says Dr Tobias Richter, Director and CSO of the MULTIVAC Group. “We are therefore very pleased that we have been able to persuade Dr Haßmann to take over this task on a permanent basis. FRITSCH is a strategically important Business Unit for us, and we see great potential for the entire FRITSCH product range throughout our subsidiaries.”

Dr Nico Haßmann has been employed at the MULTIVAC Group since February 2020, and he was until recently Executive Vice President for Subsidiary Operations in Europe, and in this role, he was responsible for the management and strategic development of the European subsidiaries. He has many years of professional management experience in the international sales of machines and equipment. Dr Nico Haßmann studied Materials Science at the Technical University of Chemnitz, and he also gained his doctorate in the same subject at RWTH University in Aachen.

FRITSCH’s Future Developments

FRITSCH has been part of the MULTIVAC Group since 2019. By 2027, there will also be new company headquarters at the industrial park in Iphofen (Franconia), where in future all the company’s activities in dough machine manufacture will be combined on one site. The new building complex, with a total area of approximately 20,000 square metres, will accommodate production halls and assembly facilities, which will be equipped with the latest technology. The World of Bakery, FRITSCH’s Technology Center, will also be relocated to the new site.
