Precision-engineered baking moulds for industrial, distributor, and retail channels, ensuring reliability, efficiency, and consistent quality across production…

With more than 85 years of experience, Ecopack S.p.A. is a global leader in paper baking moulds designed to meet the rigorous demands of industrial bakery automation.

Founded in Turin, Italy, in 1939, Ecopack S.p.A is led by Annalisa and Francesco Ferri, who grew the company to six strategically positioned plants in Europe, North America, South America, Africa and Asia. Thanks to our international presence, we are able to support our clients across more than 80 countries, delivering high-performance solutions where precision and reliability are paramount.

Our core business is co-developing industrial-grade products alongside our clients. Our technical expertise enables us to tailor every aspect of the product – from size to specifications to design – while supporting our clients throughout their product development.

Our rigorous engineering process begins with a detailed analysis of the client’s production line parameters: automatic lines, oven speed, product volume, handling requirements, thermal loads, and packaging line constraints. We then calibrate critical technical specifications such as paper grammage, balancing rigidity with heat resistance, porosity and micro-perforations to regulate moisture release and avoid condensation, mechanical strength, siliconised release coatings, and tolerances; all to ensure the moulds perform reliably at high throughput rates with minimal variation and optimised cycle time.

Our manufacturing emphasises tight tolerances, weight consistency, and engineered release properties. We continuously invest in automation and quality-control systems, such as in-line thickness scanning, grammage meters, oven simulators, and release testing, to guarantee uniform mechanical behaviour, moisture barrier performance, and product release even under high-speed cycling.

Ecopack serves three primary channels:

Industrial customers operating high-speed automated bakery lines rely on moulds engineered to work on denesters, endure repetitive thermal and mechanical stresses, ensuring batch-to-batch consistency, minimal downtimes, and reliable sealing and release characteristics under continuous operation.

Distributors can choose between bulk orders or our Professional Line, which packages pre-labelled sleeves of moulds, offering flexible formats designed for professional bakers, enabling supply-chain efficiency, versatile order fulfilment and shelf-ready convenience.

Retail clients can customise their packaging ready for consumer use, displaying their logo and brand directly to consumers and standing out through brand differentiation and shelf impact.

This multichannel engagement underscores our capacity to support the full spectrum of the bakery value chain: from industrial processing plants and wholesale distributors to retail environments, without compromising on technical consistency.

Sustainability complements our technical excellence: we offer FSC-certified paper, PFAS-free coatings, compostable and recyclable options, and we’ve earned CEPI certification for recyclability and BPI certification for compostability. These certifications enable industries to market their products as fully compostable, provided that other packaging components and ingredients also meet compostable standards, and assure our clients that our technical performance and environmental credentials coalesce pragmatically, supporting circular economy objectives. Our commitment is reinforced by membership in the UN Global Compact.

After more than eight decades of technical refinement, Ecopack is committed to delivering industrial-grade baking moulds engineered to perform, minimising tolerance variances, maximising line efficiency, and supporting diverse channels with tailored solutions. By combining engineering precision with certified sustainability, Ecopack helps bakery industries worldwide achieve industrial efficiency and outstanding product quality.
