At this year’s Interpack, at Hall 6 – Stand C27, GEA experts will be showcasing new cutting-edge solutions

GEA Bakery, a leading partner in the bakery industry, will be unveiling cutting-edge technology and sharing its latest sustainability initiatives at the upcoming Interpack 2026.

The company is part of the GEA Group, one of the world’s largest systems suppliers for the food, beverage and pharmaceutical sectors.

Exhibits

During the trade fair, innovative equipment will be presented, giving visitors the opportunity to discover the latest technologies and explore new possibilities for production efficiency and product development.

Among them, the GEA Bake Depositor 2LC will be showcased, a compact lobe depositor for high-precision handling of soft doughs and semi-liquid batters, designed for small to medium-sized producers seeking flexibility and consistent quality.

It enables production of soft-dough cookies: deposited, wire-cut, soft-center, and co-extruded, including bicolored varieties. Accurate portioning ensures clean depositing, while fast changeovers allow quick adaptation between products, reducing downtime.

Despite its compact footprint, it delivers up to 50 strokes per minute for deposited products and 100 cuts for wire-cut applications. It can operate stand-alone or integrated into tray lines.

Its stainless-steel structure, direct-drive system, and intuitive HMI ensure hygiene, low maintenance, and efficient process control.

The second highly innovative solution on display will be the new GEA E-Bake G2 tunnel oven designed to combine performance, precision, and sustainability.

Engineered to reduce CO emissions, the E-Bake G2 integrates innovative airflow systems, a compact baking chamber, and micro convection technology with enhanced localized ventilation. Each module is individually controlled by zone, allowing for highly tailored baking conditions and optimized energy use, with energy consumption reduced by up to 40% compared to the G1 gas version.

Further innovations include reduced thermal bridges and a redesigned configuration of electrical resistances, contributing to significantly improved energy performance. The result is consistent product quality and uniformity, with highly repeatable results across production batches.

Designed with operational efficiency in mind, the E-Bake G2 ensures full cleanability and fast, seamless installation through pre-assembled Plug&Play modules, enabling a smooth transition to high-performance and sustainable baking.
