Independent British flavour house, JPL Flavours, has appointed Belgian-based Kreglinger as its exclusive distribution partner for flavours across The Netherlands, Belgium, France and Luxembourg. The move will enhance JPL Flavours’ ability to service existing and new customers in Europe and strengthen its position as a fast-growing, technology and people-focused flavour house.
Kreglinger has over two centuries of expertise in the European ingredients market and an extensive distribution network. It will offer JPL Flavours’ top note flavours and technical masking and modulation solutions across bakery, beverage, nutrition, dairy and savoury applications.
Optimising taste in reduced sugar products
Alongside its full portfolio of speciality ingredients, the addition of custom flavour solutions will enable Kreglinger to help customers with NPD and EPD so they can optimise taste in reduced sugar products and improve the taste of products with active ingredients.
Laura Al-Azzawe, Sales Director at JPL Flavours, added, “This strategic partnership with Kreglinger marks a significant milestone for JPL Flavours’ international growth strategy and will enable us to service new and existing European customers, without compromising on the speed and creativity that we are known for. As a private family business, with honest and traditional business practices, it was critical that we chose a partner whose culture and outlook aligned with ours.”
Wim Arnouts, CEO of Kreglinger, commented, “It was clear on meeting the team that JPL Flavours prides itself on being independent, which resonates with us as one of the last independent distribution companies for specialty ingredients in the European market. This partnership allows us to broaden our speciality ingredients portfolio and offer our customers access to JPL Flavours’ bespoke flavour solutions and highly creative, trailblazing, customer-centric ways of working.”
JPL Flavours is one of the UK’s fastest-growing flavour houses and recently announced a series of strategic investments in its facilities, technology and team, including £11M in a new state-of-the-art innovation and manufacturing site at Bromborough, UK.
