Space-saving trays at Foodex

New, space-saving racks from bakery machine manufacturer Invicta will be part of a range of products of the business on display at Foodex, which is taking place at Birmingham NEC from 24-25 April.

The racks which will be on display are the Z-frame bakery racks, which the company have said has proved popular with early orders and are well suited to bakers short of floor space.

Made from durable 304 grade stainless steel, the ‘space-saver’ bakery racks are specifically designed to nest inside each other to save on space when they’re not being used. 10 racks can occupy a space of only two metres by one metre.

Produced in a 24mm box section with a square construction frame, they are fitted with 25 x 25 mm turned-down, anti-chafe angle runners to accept the company’s standard 762 mm x 457mm or 600mm x 400mm baking trays. The long edges are dressed for safety and come complete with a 4 x 100mm diameter nylon swivel castors for easily handling around the bakery.

During the show, Invicta will also be demonstrating products from its range of industrial bakeware including its patented tray-locked cup trays, custom-built tables, oven and bakery racks, dollies, baking trays, bread pans and tins.

There will also be a range of plastic products from Food Industry Supplies such as ingredient dispensers and containers, tote bins with matching lids, mixing bowls and roto-moulded plastic dollies.
