IPCO is a major supplier of chocolate forming/moulding equipment, with systems for the production of industrial ingredients – chips, chunks, drops and blocks – and decorative products such as shavings, rolls, pencils, blossoms and many more.

The company will use IBA 2025 to focus on the production benefits of its Rotoform rotary drop depositor, and will have a demo unit in operation on the stand. IPCO will also have details of other chocolate cooling systems, solid and perforated steel bake oven belts, and global service capabilities.

Versatile chip production with Rotoform HP

The latest model in the company’s Rotary Depositor Module range is the Rotoform HP (High Performance), a purpose-designed system that brings new levels of productivity in chocolate chip forming.

The Rotoform HP consists of a heated stator – which is supplied with liquid chocolate – and a perforated rotating shell that deposit drops of chocolate onto a continuously running steel belt. Baffles and internal nozzles provide uniform pressure across the whole belt width, delivering chips of uniform shape and size.

The heat of the drops is transferred to cooling air blown onto the product and also to the belt itself. A short cooling time means that very little oxygen can penetrate the product.

Chips are free flowing for easy handling, storage and dosing. Chips of different sizes – from 60,000 to 300 pcs/kg – can be produced by simply changing the shell.

Maximising productive floorspace with triple pass cooling

A wide range of production components means IPCO can tailor systems to meet different needs, from low cost, rapid deployment start-ups to high capacity multi-layer systems. These include triple pass cooling systems that enable high throughput rates while minimising floorspace requirements.

Piston Depositor Module for large wafers/chips

The company recently introduced an innovative Piston Depositor Module (PDM) that combines a direct-to-belt delivery approach with precision control to produce perfectly circular large wafer products. The PDM can be installed alongside Rotoform and extrusion equipment on IPCO Chips Drops and Chunks Molding Lines for maximum production flexibility.

Solid and perforated steel conveyor belts

IPCO is a manufacturer of steel belts to the bakery and confectionery industries, supplying both OEMs and end users. IPCO bake oven belts offer outstanding thermal properties for efficient baking; inherent ease of cleaning, a high degree of sustainability due to low heating costs; and an attractive return on investment. The company can also supply a comprehensive range of conveyor components.
