The awards highlight outstanding achievements across the global bakery sector, championing organisations that are driving meaningful progress in resource efficiency, emissions reduction and responsible production.
This year’s sustainability finalists each approached the challenge from a unique perspective. Meanwhile, Linwood Raker introduced a transformative project aimed at reinventing the sustainability of baking paper supply through a truly circular, collaborative model.
Following a rigorous review, the judging panel praised Linwood Raker for delivering clear, measurable improvements in biodiversity, carbon reduction and supply-chain circularity. Central to the project is a partnership with Biffa, demonstrating how coordinated action across stakeholders can reshape materials sourcing and waste management at an international scale.
With its win, Linwood Raker – Sustainability Leadership in Baking Paper Supply – stands as a compelling example of how environmental progress in the bakery industry increasingly depends on collaborative systems, innovative thinking and transparent, data-driven results.
