Marco’s Pizza opened its newest location in Conway, South Carolina. The owner of the store, former Wall Street investor Kal Gullapalli, worked for seven years on Wall Street before transitioning to restaurants and food shops, entering the world of franchising in 2016.
After opening several fitness and wellness businesses, he decided to join Marco’s in 2021 to diversify his portfolio during the pandemic. In addition to the Conway location, Mr Gullapalli owns dozens of stores across South Carolina, Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. He plans to open more locations within the year as he approaches his goal of opening over 100 Marco’s locations by 2025.

Marco’s is known for its high-quality pizza, with dough made from scratch with a golden crust, freshly mixed herbs and spices for a savoury size and three fresh signature cheeses.
