Who’s Who – Rademaker

Rademaker combines cutting-edge engineering, hands-on support, and global reach to deliver tailored dough processing and bakery system solutions for producers of all

Since its establishment in 1977, Rademaker has grown to become a world-leading provider of dough processing solutions and bakery system integration services. With over 600 skilled professionals employed worldwide and headquartered in the Netherlands, the company has earned a strong reputation for combining advanced engineering with in-depth product knowledge. Rademaker doesn’t just manufacture equipment; it partners with its clients to develop high-quality, efficient solutions that meet the demands of the modern bakery industry.

The right balance

The company’s strength lies in its understanding of the balance between dough characteristics and machine capabilities. This expertise enables the company to design processing lines that deliver exceptional results in consistency, throughput and hygiene. With a presence in Europe, North America and Asia, and sales offices in seven countries, Rademaker supports bakeries around the globe, from artisanal producers to large-scale industrial operations.

A major asset for customers is the Rademaker Technology Centre in Culemborg, the Netherlands. Here, clients can test and optimise recipes and trial new products on Rademaker’s Industrial Breadline, Pastry Line and Croissantline in realistic conditions. The Rademaker Academy complements this, offering tailored training on-site or remotely to help bakery teams improve productivity and maximise the return on their equipment investment.

In North America, Rademaker’s 50,000-square-foot Experience Centre in Chicago provides a hands-on environment for product testing and development. Known as the REC, it opened its doors in June 2024. The facility includes several Radini production lines, ovens and freezers, as well as a consumer kitchen equipped with typical household appliances. This enables customers to assess product quality from production to consumption.

The Radini Experience Centre

From April 2025, Rademaker opened a brand-new Radini Experience Centre in Culemborg. This expansion of the Rademaker Technology Centre includes a dedicated space for Radini production lines, enabling us to accommodate more customer requests. The facility includes a bread line, laminator and pastry make-up line with a croissant module. Additional essential equipment is available to accurately simulate your production process.

Also in April 2025, Rademaker completed the acquisition of Form & Frys Maskinteknik, a Danish specialist in forming, filling, and folding solutions. This acquisition strengthens Rademaker’s capabilities in product categories such as Danish pastries, pizza shells, special pies, and puff pastry. Integrating Form & Frys into the Rademaker group enhances both companies’ ability to deliver high-performance solutions and respond to growing customer demand across Europe and North America.

In addition to technical innovation, Rademaker provides system integration services. It has European and US-based divisions that design turnkey bakery systems. Seasoned Rademaker project managers will oversee the projects. Customers will have one point of contact who will coordinate suppliers, schedules and on-site work, enabling faster decision-making and minimising delays.

As part of our strategy to act as a Total Solution Provider, we are actively working on optimising our production lines, with digitalisation and measurement technologies playing an increasingly important role. It is from this drive that our collaboration with Sensure is now taking shape.

Rademaker is also committed to making a positive social impact. Through its partnership with The Women’s Bakery in Rwanda, the company supports local female entrepreneurs by providing technical training, helping with product innovation and offering funding. This initiative reflects Rademaker’s wider commitment to sustainable and socially responsible business practices.

Whether helping a craft bakery to modernise its production line or supporting global food producers with advanced automation, Rademaker consistently puts its customers first. With nearly five decades of experience, a global infrastructure and an unwavering commitment to quality and innovation, Rademaker is a reliable partner for bakeries seeking to remain competitive in an ever-changing industry.
